DALAWANG TULAK SA BATAAN

September 19-20, 2009 Location: Bagac / Pilar Bataan

We are heading to La Playa Caleta in Morong Bataan. This place is 15 minutes thru banca from the Bataan Nuclear Plant. It is a hidden cove that is secluded by white sand and forest.  Honestly, we don't know what to expect in this place since everyone are first-timers. An original group of 21 then trimmed down 14. Three vehicles bounded NLEX to Bagac Bataan where we will meet the contact person of this escapade.

We arrived in Bagac at around 11:30 AM, then another 20-30 minutes; we will take the shores to the destination. At touchdown, it was mixed emotions to everyone; the expectations are now a reality in different perspectives.  The place is quiet, serene and one those places where you can really relax and not to think too much.

In our course of stay at the cove, we stroll on the rocky portions of the beach, done minor rock climbing where we got some bruises and fishing for others. The sunset view down the Bataan Nuclear plant was refreshing. Take a dip on the beach and river at the back. I might say taste of exotic foods especially the "Dahon ng Kasoy salad" is somewhat extraordinary.

The night session was full of surprises and revelation. A free flowing question and answer portion was thrown also.  Sunday was time to remember our WWWII heroes; we visited Mt.Samat before heading to Manila.  Overall the experience was great except the last Lunch and Overloaded banca on our way back to Bagac.
